8th Joint ASEAN Societies Reception 2025

Wednesday 10th December, 2025    6:00pm to 9:00pm

Once again, BMS will be combining with the other ASEAN societies to arrange the annual Reception. This year's event is jointly organised by BMS and the LSESU Malaysia Club and will be hosted at the Sheikh Zayed Theatre at the LSE.

In celebration of UK ASEAN links, the reception will welcome distinguished guests, including Ambassadors and senior representatives from the ASEAN Embassies and High Commissions.

We are delighted that His Excellency the Ambassador of the Philippines, Mr Teodoro Locsin Jr., His Excellency the High Commissioner of Malaysia Dato' Zakri Jaafar, and the Rt Hon The Lord Vaizey of Didcot, Chair of UK ASEAN Business Council, will deliver keynote speeches.

Date: Wednesday 10 december 2025

Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Venue: Sheikh Zayed Theatre at the London School of Economics (LSE). The Sheikh Zayed Theatre is located on the lower ground floor of the Cheng Kin Ku Building at 54 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A 3LJ (marked CKK on the LSE campus map).

Nearest tube stations: Holborn, Covent Garden, Temple.

Dress code: National dress or business attire.

COST

Standard Ticket - £40pp + £1.60.
Full-time Students -  £20pp + £0.80

Please note that there is a small booking fee as bookings for this event are not via the usual BMS booking system.
