APPG for Malaysia - advance information about the proposed date for the 2026 AGM

The British Malaysian Society has agreed to provide secretariat services for the All Party Parliamentary Group for Malaysia.

It is proposed to hold the APPG AGM on
Tuesday 27 October 2026 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.

The AGM will be quite short and will be followed by 2 speakers on an important topic relevant to UK-Malaysia mutual interests. The exact venue has yet to be arranged but is expected to be in a room at the Houses of Parliament.

BMS members and guests will be invited to attend the AGM and the following speaker event, but will not be permitted to to take part in or vote on any matter which is part of the AGM.

This is an unofficial notice so that BMS members can reserve the date.

The date, time, location and other details will be provided after the event has been formalised.
