BMS ANNUAL DINNER 2026
BMS members and guests are invited to join us for our annual dinner on 28 January 2026.
The Travellers Club at 106 Pall Mall is the oldest of the Clubs in Pall Mall as it was established in 1819. One of the most exclusive, it has been described as “the quintessential English gentleman ‘s Club". Accordingly, please note the strict dress code requirements (below).
Founded in 1819, ' for gentlemen who had travelled out of the British Isles to a distance of at least 500 miles from London in a direct line' to meet and entertain distinguished guests from overseas, it is the oldest of the surviving Pall Mall Clubs and is one of the most exclusive. Early members include five future British Prime Ministers. The Club still counts many foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners in London as members and many present and former members of Her Majesty's Diplomatic Service. BMS President Sir Mark Moody-Stuart KCMG has been a member of this prestigious club for over 40 years and will be delighted to welcome BMS members and guests to The Travellers Club.
The evening will include a raffle and auction and the net proceeds will go to the BMS charity and Student fund. Anyone wishing to donate a raffle prize or auction item, or to be an event sponsor, please contact BMS at [email protected] .
This event is open to all members and non members who have an interest in positive UK-Malaysia relations in Trade & investment, Travel & Tourism, Culture, and Educational Links.
