BMS Visit to Cardiff

Day Visit to Cardiff

This is now a single-day visit on 23 May (moved from 16 May).

The programme will include visits to interesting and historic sights in Cardiff, meeting with Malaysian students and business people with an interest in UK-Malaysia relations.

Visit Programme

Saturday 23 May 2026

10.40am Train arrives in Cardiff Central station from Paddington.
                    Others may drive to Cardiff or take the coach.
                  Group to meet in entrance to station.

11:00am Visit to Cardiff City Football Club owned by Malaysian Tan Sri Vincent Tan.
                 Tour of Football club and presentation.

1.15pm   Visit to Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama
 
3:00pm   Visit to BBC Cymru ( 90 mins) 

4.30pm   Visit to Cardiff Bay Area

6:00pm   Dinner at The Ivy, Cardiff

7.45pm   Leave to catch either 8pm or 8.22pm train back to Paddington 

IMPORTANT NOTES

Attendees to pay for:

Train tickets,
their share of taxi/Uber fares in Cardiff,
ticket for Tour of BBC Cymru £17.50 (normal price), 
their share of Dinner at The Ivy.

There is no obligation to attend all the tours if you have other plans.

We will be joined by Malaysian students and also non-students during the day.
