This year we are delighted to feature BMS member and successful International Concert Pianist Mei Yi Foo. A former BBC music magazine Best Newcomer of the year, Mei Yi Foo hails from Seremban, Negri Sembilan like our Chair, Mei Sim Lai OBE DL and some BMS members.
Mei Yi will take part in an In Conversation with Dr Hiu Man Chan, Chair of BMS Culture Group about her career and her very exciting new project to launch the Nine Arts Festival in Negeri Sembilan covering music, theatre, poetry, sculpture, dance, cinema, literature, comics and architecture this year.
There will be an opportunity for you to watch video clips of Mei Yi performing.

Before the conversation with Mei Yi Foo, Venice Koo will perform 2 pieces on the violin and a further piece after the video clip. Venice is a violinist studying at King's College and previously performed for BMS at our 40th Anniversary concert held last June at the
Royal Academy of Music.
