The British Malaysian Society invites members and friends to join us at the Ham Polo Club to watch the Household Cavalry v Commonwealth Polo match and enjoy a buffet lunch.
If you wish to attend this event, please book as soon as possible, as there are only limited places available and bookings will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
BMS member, Lt Col (Retd) Peter R L Hunter, formerly of The Life Guards and Adjutant of the Household Cavalry who has been playing and marketing Polo internationally for many years, has kindly extended an invitation to BMS members to join him at the 2025 Household Cavalry v Commonwealth Polo Match.
As in previous years, it will be held at the prestigious Ham Polo Club, with the first round of chukkas starting at 12:15pm. The players will then be able to join us for a two-course buffet lunch and drinks included after the match.
Guests will be encouraged to help with the divot stomping at half time and will be able to relax and mingle watching all following matches from the superb clubhouse terraces after lunch.
This year’s event is once again sponsored by Sarah Goodwin, CEO and Founder of VERRE ANGLAISE wines and Don Featherstone in conjunction with Clos Wines and Hamilton George.

Dress code: Smart Casual (ties not required but BMS ties most welcome! ;-) ).
Programme (note minor changes to the programme)
12:00am - Gates open for arrival and registration.
12:15pm - Start of Drinks reception.
12:15pm - Main match starts - 4 chukkas
1:30pm - Prize giving in front of the clubhouse followed by buffet lunch.
4:00pm onwards - Departure

BMS members - £95pp
Non-BMS members - £105pp
(Cost covers Ham Polo Club day pass, buffet lunch with drinks and a donation to the Household Cavalry Foundation Charity and the 2025 Lord Mayor ‘s Show Ladies Float Fund)
