In regard to the questions listed, yes, I would be happy to share my comments with BMS.
1. Was the scheme what you expected?
Yes, the scheme has provided me an opportunity to view my future prospects more clearly and now I know the career paths available related to my academics. My mentor was so helpful in facilitating me understanding leadership roles in an institution based on his experience and has broadened my perspective about the working world. Most importantly, this scheme has widened my connection with the professionals for which I learned about the working culture in both government and private sectors. All in all, this scheme is an excellent initiative to help young students like me plan for our future career.
2. What else could the mentorship scheme offer students?
The mentorship scheme could organise a special networking event for students for us to learn from professionals with different backgrounds, hoping that we found or matched with somebody who is working in our targeted field/ organisation. Even so, the current system should be maintained.
3. Any other comments.
